The greek wooden horse – 29. November, 2011

When people think of the Trojan horse the first thing that comes to mind is the horse that helped destroy troy. It was a wonderful idea that Odysseus came up with and under the leadership of Epeios, this huge wooden horse was built in a short three days. The history of the wooden horse is that Odysseus required one man to remain out of the horse and act like he had been left behind. Sinon told the Trojans that the Greeks left and that the horse was a gift to Athena, because of the damage that had been done to the temple.

There are a few different tales concerning the wooden horse that destroyed Troy and each one is as wonderful as the other to read. No one is one hundred percent certain what tale is true and what one is made up, but regardless it is a wonderful tale.

Science fiction is a genre that can be difficult to write. It is important to have a clear understanding of what it is and how to effectively write using those guidelines. While not for everyone, this type of writing can be quite fun as the imagination can run wild.

Start out with brainstorming story ideas. A good story needs to be unconventional but also based in reality. Readers of this type expect science facts incorporated into a story to be consistent and plausible. A good way to get a feel for how this type of story flows is to read books that are written by other authors with an established career writing this kind of fiction.

These kinds of stories rely heavily on the imagination and futuristic plots. Develop an idea that is unique and likely to intrigue people. Competition is fierce but a great story can make the difference.
